Hi there miss Jane, Barbara, Jacqui, and any of the old blog crew who may be listening in. Glad to see there has been some attempt to rekindle the old site. Happy birthday Barara. Sorry to have missed it. Hope you had a fab old day. Lots of wine and birthday cake.

I have started my new job here in London. Well, just outside London actually. I am wokring in a place called Dartford. If you ever come to the UK don't forget not to visit! Well, there is a wonderful shopping centre just near here which is worth the drive but not much else. But because work is so far from home I indulged and bought myseld a beee-yooo-tiful silver soft top MR2, with hard top for winter. I am in true love. Red leather seats. Airconditioning for the three hot days in Enlgand's summer, and a CD player. Absolute bliss as my last form of transport had a lawnmower engine and two wheels!

I'm concentrating on the final push to get my kitchen finished - after only four months you might think it would be done by now, but James and I have a torture work ethic - do everything in an enitirely illogical and haphazard order and do everything twice as you mess it up the first time round. So if anyone fancies a bit of interior decorating experience, all opinions gratefully received!

How are you and where are you Miss Jane? I cannot remember. Sydney? Adelaide? Where? And why not London. I'm still waiting for you over here....! And Jacqui, hope the work is calming down a little and the weather warming up. Sorry I've been a slack corrrespondant. Hope the Chapel St lifestyle is still suiting you. Looking forward to your holiday here as well.

Hello. I am receiving! Leah, how are you? I haven't spoken to you in ages. Have been absolutely exhausted with work and when not working burying myself at home to keep warm. What is with the weather? How do you and Mr Frank do it in the UK? In fact how does anyone do it who doesn't live in the tropics????? I have repeatedly scared the pizza guy by opening my door to my apartment with 35 degree heat surging out of it (love central heating!) and me in shorts, singlet and ugg boots. If I can put a pool on my little balcony and border it with palm trees it will be just like living at home. Well, kinda. The trams going past underneath me on Chapel Street may not be quite the same... Life is good - kinda - so much to say and have no idea where to start. How is everyone? I was going to write a slimy apology for not blogging for ages then realised no-one else has been. Shame on us. Well done Sar on your gym efforts. Have you managed to maintain them? I am trying for three slots of exercise a week minimum. One game of squash. One gym visit. One swim. I have this fanciful idea, still, of doing a mini triathlon next year. And of fitting into my skinny jeans again. Oh well. May have to give up chocolate though cannot guarantee the success of that. Would have to give up pancakes as well, and I absolutley love pancakes. Have eaten seven so far this week.....

My good news is that I put an offer on a flat this week. Two actually. The first was turned down. And I'll hear about the other one tomorrow. Don't expect to be successful, but this heralds my attempts to get on the first rung of the London property ladder. No more shoe shopping at Harvey Nics for me. From now on I will be down B&Q (equivalent of Bunnings) drooling over paint swatches and halogen lights!

My toes are looking decidedly frumpy as they shuffle on into winter. Boo hoo. Tis the season of body hair - armpits, legs. It all get's hidden away under winter clothes. But I will not succumb! hope everyone is doin well. i have just returned from a weekend in Paris to meet my parents (over from oz). went to disney paris with my nephew who chickened out of most of the rides. i am ashamed to say that i tried mind games and even "guilting" him into going on the rides that i wanted to. he is 9, i am 29.
before paris i was at a friends wedding in colombia in a place on the carribean coast called Barranquilla- it was great fun but like being in a sauna the whole day. didnt get kidnapped but did get a chance to see colombia v brazil soccer match which was absolutely crazy.
also got to spend a couple of days on the original gold coast - miami beach - on the way home, lots of people keeping plastic surgeons in business.
for now it's back to work and earning money.

friday - had the most amazing time with amazing man who gave wow kisses :) i felt like a princess and went home to sleep well.

saturday - woke up with a smile feeling content from previous night with amazing man with big brown eyes. to die for lashes and cheekiest grin ever. chatted with him for awhile reminiscing about our night. a wonderful honest moment with him too. now. i totally adore him.

went to the markets to do some initial preparations for b-day partay next weekend. asian theme night folks :)

sunday - woke up late with a silly grin on my face. i blame the adorable man for it. showered. went to bunnings to buy outdoor wrought iron heater thingy. very funky indeed.. again..a major element for the partay. bought scatter cushion pillows and throw rugs at freedom for the said event too.

i am now doing the laundry, cleaning my room, decorating the house and at the same time blogging and chatting with the amazing man.

well folks.. it has been an amazing weekend.

Hello everyone. I am in Kuala Lumpar - tres exotique, except I am of course only in the airport. But I'm trying the not quite so scummy approach to travel. what an excellent week it's been, and will continue to be over the weekend too! around my life i've got; first home purchase by one of my best friends in melbourne, baby announcement from another friend in melbourne, buddy in sydney scored an excellent rental pad in the city here in sydney (housewarming in a few weeks), have made plans for a party at the penthouse apartments of quay west suites in sydney in a few weeks, been drinking lots and eating out all week, great evening planned with my sister tonight, and hopefully will see the lovely glamour girl herself, ms jacqui as well... and to top it off, might go and do a spot of whale watching on monday to celebrate the long weekend.

Had merry old incident last friday when I left my scooter lights on and flattened the battery at the gym. Called David for a moan. Bike stayed at the gym for two days as we weren't quite sure where the battery actually was, until my boyfriend realised it had a manual kickstart... Very easy to use... So battery still dead but I am mobile again! Mechanics was never my strong point.

Boy have I missed you all!

First, most sincere apologies to Jacq for not calling her on her birthday. Considering she is my oldest closest bestest friend that was truly crap. I promise it shall never happen again.... On the matter of phone calls, I managed to get my own phone number slightly wrong. It is actually +4420 8297 6281. Blonde bimbo strikes again.

Had a fortnight's leave recently but as my passport is on a holiday all of it's own at the Home Office (yes, I am still an alien!) I had to stay in England. James and I went to cornwall where it rained. The most excitement I had was beating James once on Sega Rally scud racer... once out of ten times. Learnt to play chess though, and sipped cognac with fat Havana cigars. Heavenly! Was going to go horse riding, but James convinced me to try quad biking instead. Jacq, learn from my experience - never do this! Had absolutely no fun whatsoever and managed to fall off. I now have three rather disgusting bruises on my hip, arse and knee. The mix between haematoma and stretch mark is just delightful! The highlight of my holiday was seeing young Alice, who was over in London briefly. Her grandmother passed away, and she was over in Denmark for the funeral. Bless you Alice. Love as ever coming your way. It was so wonderful to see her. I miss my friends.

Congratulations Sarah on your promotion. Retail rewards are definitely a must. You're not spending pounds so you are practically making money by spending it!

Miss Jane, when are you making your way over here??? And what is happening on the boy front? Was in Gloucestershire when your brother phoned, so couldn't catch up, but maybe I will get to go to the Netherlands and catch up with him?

i am back people

been so busy running around, doing road trips, special trip to sydney to meet boy, and of course to the conference work paid for.. blah blah blah.. and in the middle of it all, trying to organise all the pics i've taken during the trip.. and it aint happening yet.

so blood tired. hope you kids are well.
highlight of my trip:

- bonding with 2 gorgeus chicks (hint hint: lights on.. lights on.. lights off .. lights off.. move along, nothing to see here)

- and seeing my neigbourino dean, who is looking very spunky. i had the honor of viewing his buttock , as we went up the stairs at The Rocks area. hehehe it was memorable. shaking that ass.

thanks dean, by the way for showing me sydney while i was there. i love that city.

and do not be surprised if this little chick might move over there. love it. just love it.
